Wild Ozark Herbs on DVD

A Virtual Herb Walk – Slide Show on DVD

Take a virtual herb walk through the Ozark wilds with Madison Woods. The slides in the demo below are the first 10 of 65 slides formatted for viewing on a Kindle reader. The DVD format is similar except it is a slide-show on DVD. It has a short video clip and more slides than the Kindle version.
This full-color slide show from Wild Ozark™ is rich in imagery of the Ozark herbs of northwest Arkansas. Until supplies last, this item is FREE with any purchase of a “real” item in our online store.
Wildflowers and Herbs
The photos spotlight some of the plants considered to be most beautiful, useful or appreciated by the author. Each frame tells you a little about each one. See the plants and herbs you’d see if you were really on an herb walk with Madison. These are the plants that grow along the roadsides, meadows and forests right in the areas where walks are scheduled.
American Ginseng
An entire chapter is devoted to ginseng and ginseng’s companion plants in the forest habitat where they grow.
the Kindle format
This slide show is also available in e-book format for Kindle. The book displays best on Kindle Fire and other color e-readers. Layout works on the older black & white readers, but the images are gray-scaled and text is not as easy to read. Performs beautifully on the Kindle for PC reader and iPhone. Please leave a review if you purchased this picture book!

Product Description

Here’s the mystery pic and answer to the trivia question on the DVD:

They’re FROG EGGS! They’re probably Leopard frog eggs. In the next photo you’ll see the single egg with the tiny tadpole inside. We put these back into the pool after the pictures were taken.

If Madison isn't outside somewhere in the woods, she's inside creating something new (stories, articles, products or services) to share with her Wild Ozarkian friends. She blogs about her life in the wilds at Wild Ozark. If you haven't already, sign up for her monthly newsletter! She loves to write fantasy with a dash of scifi, often with elements from the Ozarks. She's working on a new website just for her fiction: Wild Ozark Fantasy. Drop in for a visit sometimes!
